Hey if you wanted to have your function go down by 25% why did you multiply 100 by .75 in stead of .25 for 25%

As we discussed in class 75% of a number is the same as finding 25% of the number and then subtracting it. We do not want to have a subtraction part in our formula so we just multiply by 0.75 to get the same effect in one step.

This is used everyday in savings accounts and credit cards. Luckily, the banks will do most of the math for you but it is important to know what is happening to your money!
