About Me

Hello, I am originally from Southern MD, Calvert County.  I graduated from Towson University with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 2007.  I was an accountant for five years and then took a year long trip sailing/living in the Bahamas.  When I came back, I decided to make a career change and substitute taught in Baltimore County while I got my Masters in Education at Notre Dame of Maryland.  I taught 7th grade math in Baltimore County for five years before switching to my new home, Magothy River Middle School!  I now enter my thirteenth year teaching and still love it.

I am an avid sports fan and board game enthusiast.  I run Strategy Club where students meet weekly to play card games, board games, and DnD.  You can visit our website here: magothystrategyclub.weebly.com
