I was a little confused at first because you reached 17 for both but didn't stop until you reached 23 when they were both at 7. So when you are calculating you don't stop until you have the same x and y for each equation?

That's right, the solution to our system is when there are matching (x,y) coordinates.

Thank you This video helped alot but what if the line was a constant? I mean that both lines are in a constant line?

Great question! If both lines were constant then they would be parallel and we learned in class that they would have NO solutions.
